Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about MemoryBreakr

How does MemoryBreakr work?

MemoryBreakr uses AI to intelligently manage your computer's memory. It combines unused VRAM from your GPU, fast NVMe storage, and network resources to extend your effective RAM. Our ML algorithms predict what data you'll need and pre-load it, making the extended memory feel nearly as fast as real RAM.

Is it safe to use?

Yes, MemoryBreakr is completely safe. It doesn't modify any system files or drivers. It works at the application level using Windows APIs. All data is kept locally on your machine - we don't collect any personal data.

What are the system requirements?

You need Windows 10/11 (64-bit), at least 8 GB RAM, and preferably a GPU with 4+ GB VRAM for VRAM pooling. An NVMe SSD is recommended for best performance. Administrator privileges are required for installation.

How much RAM can I 'add'?

It depends on your hardware. With a 12 GB GPU and a 500 GB NVMe, you could effectively add 50-100 GB of usable memory. The actual effective capacity depends on your usage patterns and data compressibility.

Will it slow down my computer?

No. MemoryBreakr is designed to be transparent. Our PredictRAM technology pre-loads data before you need it, so you rarely experience any slowdown. In fact, many users report faster performance because applications can use more memory without swapping.

What's the difference between the tiers?

FREE gives you basic memory pooling up to 8 GB. PRO unlocks unlimited pooling, SemanticRAM compression, and basic prediction. ULTIMATE adds advanced ML prediction, network RAM pooling, and API access for developers.

Is there a subscription?

No. All our plans are one-time purchases with lifetime updates. During the open beta, all features are free.

Can I use it while gaming?

Yes, but with considerations. If you're using VRAM pooling and launch a game, MemoryBreakr will automatically migrate data to other pools to free up VRAM for your game. This happens seamlessly in the background.

Does it work with VMs or WSL?

Yes! MemoryBreakr works great with virtual machines and WSL2. It can significantly extend the memory available to your VMs without requiring more physical RAM.

How do I get support?
